Wild earth

You make me smile

Eternal, yon beauty

There is no denial

Wild earth

You make me ponder

Over the mornings you wake

And those nights you wander

Wild earth

You make me sigh

Humanity, such a burden

I ask thee, why

Wild earth

You make me laugh

The defiler, you punish

With Mother Nature's wrath

Wild earth

You make me humble

You part raging seas

And make mountains crumble

Wild earth

You make me sob

Tis a slow death

Amid this rancid mob

Wild earth

You make me heed

It seems as though I stand alone

Mankind must cede

Wild earth

You make me pray

To a God somewhere

For one more day

This is beautiful , I often find myself wondering , Why is there no one else out side? I find my solace , my kindship and sanity outside. Yet the malls and parking lots are full of cars and people. My very sanity has been saved by natures caress, awesome write .

One more day! seems like so little to ask, until you reach into your pocket and try to buy it. Beautifully done, obviously, by one who has found the value of a moment.

Nicely done, I was mesmerized by the force of your thoughts. You humbled us as Mother Nature took over and showed us her might. The photos were a perfect blend with this work.

I fear humans are a sorry lot, we have abused planet earth and now mother nature is rebelling and taking it back. When will we silly humans learn? we need earth, it's doesn't need us. Hugs to you and voted UP and awesome.

As good as this one is I find it only saddens me. How many wild palces have been erased from existence? All of it for mankind's need to breed and spread across the globe like a festering plague. Our Mother Earth will one day see us as such and the cycle will begin anew. Maybe the next sentient species will respect her more appropriately. Great Hub!

Nicely done...the photos are so tied to the words. Wild earth is a force to be reckon with and in my own mind far more strong than the combined ability of mankind to destroy it. Like kutsu vines, it will always recreate itself in some form. Thanks much for sharing. WB
