Wilderness Angel

Updated on November 13, 2010

Moment of Freedom.

Wilderness Angel

Muse of the deep northern Forrest

Comes unto me as a Queen

Bare back

On the gallop

of a sable stallion

nostrils mute;

Flare at her command!

Hoof beat halts

in the crisp white sand.

Dominion over the animals

she brings,

her soft toned song,

a delicate violin string.

Hearkening the heat of heart

that makes the silkened grey sparrows sing.

I gently take her hand

and unlock her sacred steeple.

A forward bend,

glistening white skin,

Thumb print dimples

A natural entrance

to her sacred temple

My strong hands stretch across her stately essence

Mystery free

writhing ringlets of golden hair

sweep the eternal sands

glancing eyes

at the laboring shadows

as a warm wave

gripping a steel pylon

forming an L shape

hard to master

a deep fire burns

under the moons willing eyes

sunrise begins to ascend

Fair maiden

Will I see you again?
