Winter Writing Comfort - Brighten A Room and Cozy Up Next To The Fireplace

Updated on November 16, 2012

Grab your empty coffee cup off the lamp, get a refill, and pull out that keyboard from under your Santa Claus. hat because when winter arrives, for writers, comfort is all that matters. Cozy on up next to a fireplace, open the curtain, brighten a room if you must, eat, and get comfortable.

Grab your list of words on that saved Microsoft word document, minimize the doc, stay dressed in your pajamas at the desk, smile at your warm beverage next to your computer mouse, and start writing. Get comfortable.

Writers can put out 8 to 10 hours of writing and can do it successfully non-stop because of one thing, comfort. Human beings love snuggling up in their comfort zone, who doesn't, and comfort will stave off all forms of nuisance including winter chills. Nuisance is also a growling stomach so eat something, and get comfortable. There is no other way to be a great author unless your writing zone is a comfort zone.

Thank you for the compliment. Being comfortable is all that matters when working on writing projects. I love writing in places that have a lot of happy sunshine and I perch myself inside that room on a chair by a window.

Love it! I wish I could spend 8 - 10 hours a day writing. Your hub sounds very inviting, comfy, and a dream come true!
