Wishes of the heart

Updated on March 3, 2010

I fancy thee as you see me

And me as I see thee

The past, the present, and yet

the more of thee to come

Hidden yonder and of yore

even you, no not next

For within yourself, is to be

without thyself, tomorrow

Each longing measure is

half a day and some

And half thyself is

only in part known

Thy permit will expire

by pre-eminence unseen

The soul shall greet thee

and thee the soul.

And more and beyond the

meanings you will then know

As judgment comes

as if it goes.
