Wobble (a Haiku)

Updated on September 16, 2015
Though times may seem askew...
Though times may seem askew...
In every thing we do...
In every thing we do...
We must not be afraid...
We must not be afraid...
About the choice we've made...
About the choice we've made...

Earth...our blue planet,

Shall wobble...always to spin.

Axis moves again.

Never shall falter,

Provides life, until the end.

We'll start over then.

Not to be alarmed,

Or In any way dismayed...

Never be afraid.

Life's challenges change,

Now simply to rearrange...

Of our choices made.

God's own handiwork...

Though worry may always lurk...

Is life's grand parade.

Indeed, it does wobble, but one day, I hope that she will be pure again.

'Life's challenges change'- loved this line!

Challenges change yet we become unnerved when faced with challenges.

Thanks ann. I feel a challenge each time I approach a subject and am limited to few words possible. Lots of fun. whonu

It's fun to play with haiku and there are various 'rules' depending on which type you are taught. I love them and I love these that you've shared here.

I do not wish to put your teacher down in any way, however, Haiku is rooted in many centuries of Japanese writing forms and covers every subject imaginable, especially nature. Even in the West, there are about one million followers in this poetry form and quite a large number of clubs about Haiku and its writing. Your Comment...
