Words ( A Poem for Writers Block)
A Poem for Writer's Block
Improvising words, closing my eyes, feeling the energy burn from the inside.
Loud thoughts move my fingers, across my universe of typing.
I enter the void of the soft whispers of my soul,
I research their every corner, I concentrate, I revise
Let it all flow, like the river, like the current of energy between two souls looking for love.
Empty nights, oh my dear, how I miss you so, your glowing skin, your light, in the dead of the night
I whisper your name, loud enough to be heard in the echoes of my heart,
with fear, I speak your name, to this night, of shooting dust.
I inhale the memory of you, exhale, words, words like poetry to caress your lips as you read,
to serve you as a reminder of this endless universe, and as you stand still, it turns, yet, you don't feel it.
Like a frozen petal in the middle of spring,
walk me barefoot through the coldness of your heart,
show me your glaciers, let me light a fire of passion inside your eyes,
let me read you through the night, outside, still, mine.
