What is a word

It is meaningless

Every word is a compilation of letters

They create silence

A word is not heard

How can we say something is read in a specific way

A word has no emotion

It creates labels to be misused

We make compilations and add meaning

We add emotions and reason

Words themselves are nothing

But we make them into something

With our actions, thoughts and understanding

From our history, culture and knowledge

We create depth in words from life lessons

We create them as we each grow up

As we evolve by each generation

Meanings change in these words

The words evolve alongside with us

Words used too often murders its meaning

Because words never have true meaning

Its meaning is pattern and experiences

We give words meaning but sometimes we take them away

What is love, what is hate

Two words overly spoken of

We replace the emotion with more words

We speak of things but do not act on them

The emotion released, makes experiences misnamed

Experiences misnamed, makes understanding dissipate

One by one the importance of words leave

So what is then left in a word

Back to nothing
