Words

By Chuck RitenouR

What words might say

if they could

just compose themselves

for one moment.

If they jumped upon

this page

at the touch

of a finger.

Perhaps telling a tale

of star crossed lovers

then again, perhaps not.

dahoglund, Moon Willow Lakew & prairieprincess,

Your comments made me smile. I was such a serious young fellow when I wrote this.....I laugh so much more now...mostly at myself.

      Thanks for stopping by,

      Chuck

Oh, but if only words would sometimes compose themselves - lol! It would make writer's block non-existent - lol!
