World of a Most Magnificent Design (a poem of inspiration)

Updated on June 28, 2015
The fine air that we breathe...the warmth of the sun...such wonderful pleasures we all share...ours, as stewards of it all on this fine earth...
The fine air that we breathe...the warmth of the sun...such wonderful pleasures we all share...ours, as stewards of it all on this fine earth...
The earth and all of its glory...recorded in the aged old story...
The earth and all of its glory...recorded in the aged old story...
The fields of green, the marvelous trees...the bluest oceans... all ours to behold...
The fields of green, the marvelous trees...the bluest oceans... all ours to behold...
How we each respect and care for our world...the better our future children shall enjoy it...
How we each respect and care for our world...the better our future children shall enjoy it...
Every precious seed to return an ample bounty of our love...
Every precious seed to return an ample bounty of our love...
How we treat each living thing now...reflected in the future world for others...
How we treat each living thing now...reflected in the future world for others...
We shall indeed to reap that which we have sewn...
We shall indeed to reap that which we have sewn...
A unified spirit of kinship and devotion...to leave our kind a wonderful legacy and a chance to replenish this earth...
A unified spirit of kinship and devotion...to leave our kind a wonderful legacy and a chance to replenish this earth...

Those who look, shall all surely see,

those who search shall then to find,

This majestic beauty in the life, about us,

that of the Lord God's own design.

Each precious second that we are living,

ours such an experience, so divine,

A gift of such a benevolent contribution,

is given to our own human kind.

We were the chosen fond recipients,

of a gracious loving, and kindest lord,

Planted firmly on this earth, in its glory,

with nourishing rain, to be poured.

The fields of green, finest trees around us,

colors afforded by the bluest sky,

Gorgeous oceans, in splendor, who's to doubt us,

this, our demonstrative answer, as to why.

We, as a people, are his chosen ones,

He has made us each, so surely, as his own,

Not to matter how many have come before us,

or in the future, to survive, then to move on.

The bountiful planet as a mother, shall nurture,

to be shared with each one of us, in kind,

Ours, a charge of grandest respect, are its stewards,

as in fondest relations, this to bind.

As we shall so reap, that shall we to sew,

as blessed seeds placed in a welcoming soil,

The benefits and pleasurable consequences,

entirely rests, and so dependent upon our toil.

The loved ones, our people of future times,

shall admire, or suffer greatly from our acts,

The affections we give, sustained, how we live,

may be as additions, or how it so subtracts.

Shall we love our children...enough to provide for their futures?
Shall we love our children...enough to provide for their futures?

This is indeed a wonderful world and we have to look after it so that future generations can share in it all, unblemished.

      Beautiful poem.

Whonu, we've taken so much from the Earth that the future and the present are compromised. It's time to start giving back, lest we witness our demise.

This was very inspirational. I think it also has a beneficial message when you read it. I think the message is we are all his Children, we should learn to live as one, no matter where we come from or what race or religion. Also, we should help the planet keep whole by not destroying the layers of it by unnecessary waste. We should all put in an effort to keep it clean for future generations. We should all just get along and work together!

A magnificent planet and design indeed, and much more worthy than how we live. Loving Hub, Bro.
