Would you build the Oars..?

Updated on June 4, 2013

If I were a bird ...I would fly across the world

If i could fly to you .. would you want me too ?

if my heart were yours .. would you build the oars

that would take my boat across... the deep blue sea

just to have me write..... soft words for thee

Tell me how.... you would hold me tight

tell me... under the bright... moon-light

on the grass.. under the tree's

tell me my sweet ..

put it in a box ...with a ribbon on top

oh so neat

The soul writes from the heart ..
the words we carry are the weight of emotions

from previous lives ..
when we walked together ..

with a simple love that consisted of

just having you look into my eyes

This puts me in mind of writing by Elizabeth Barrett Browning. Such a beautifully written love poem. You certainly outdid yourself in this one!

      Voted up, awesome, and beautiful.

A lovely poem about love - a bit puzzled about 'building' oars; I thought they were usually whittled away.
