Would you read Bared to You?

Updated on October 5, 2012

When it comes to choosing a good book to read, you have to be able to read what you like to read. For me, I figured I enjoy reading romance books and so I wanted to read a romance book that some people have started to talk about. The author of this book is Sylvia Day and the title is Bared to You.

Like lots of people who thought that Fifty Shades of Grey was good, this book is also good. In a way it is almost like Fifty Shades of Grey but has a different type of story to tell. There are differences between both of these books as well as similarities but it is still a good story that I found interesting and kept my attention. I was able to finish the book within three days and that is pretty good when it comes for me reading a book.

The book starts off with Eva starting a new job and she lives with her good friend Cary. On the day she starts her job she meets this nice, handsome, good looking guy and she is intrigued by him. She doesn't think that she will see him again but he happens to be the boss of the company and some of the buildings in the city. Ever since the first day, Gideon Cross, who happens to be the tall, handsome guy saw Eva he seems to be attracted to her. So he is determined have her and he decides to ask her a really bold question.

Eva and Gideon decide to see each other and they find out that they like each other more than they thought. But they each have a past that haunts them in a way. Eva tries to help Gideon out but he isn't always too open about how his life has been. She tells him what she has gone through and Gideon feels like he needs to do something about it. Gideon has a brother by the name of Christopher and he gets kind of attracted to Eva, however Gideon warns Eva not to get to close to Christopher.

Gideon happens to have had a relationship with another lady but when he decides that Eva is for him he decides to tell her. But like in all former relationships they don't always want to let go of that one person. But Eva and Gideon decide they want to work it out even though they go through situations and jealousy because of the love that they have for each other.

This book is good to read and like most romance books there is sex. In many ways, you can say that there are some similarities between this book and Fifty Shades of Grey. First Gideon and Christian both own buildings and own the company in which the women they want works for. Both women get attracted to each guy the first day they meet each other. This book is good and has a sequel which will be interesting to read and see how their love can make it through.

I find that reviews help me decide which books to read.

I have so many books to read, ones that I have promised other authors that I will read - that I'll probably be in my 60's before I can find the time to read FIFTY SHADES, or any other new books. And I read very quickly.

I don't know how I'll ever catch up. I do like to read the reviews of books though, just in case I find one that seems irresistible to me.
