Writing Chair, Good for the Body and the Soul!

Updated on September 15, 2011

Chairs, Chairs and more Chairs!

What kind of chair would you choose?
What kind of chair would you choose?

Just got a new writing chair:)

Isn't it crazy how a chair can make a difference in your writing. My husband had been saying for over a year, he wanted to buy me a new chair for my office. I would tell him, I don't need one, the office chair I have is good enough.

He has a managers chair in his office, and he loves it! Knowing that his chair is so comfortable, I guess, he wanted to get a blessing for me! I really, didn't feel we needed to spend the money, when what I had was working.

Well, I have to say, I have been converted! You wouldn't believe how nice it is, to sit in a layed back comfortable chair. I now sit at my computer, and am so relaxed, I just want to keep on writing:) Cool Hey!

Get this picture in mind...of the computer kids, who are layed back in their chairs, arms extended, hat on, snacks and their big drink sitting at the desk. They are camped out at their homie work station for the day, and comfortable at that:)

So thankful for my new chair, I think I will be writing a few more hub pages:) So much to write about, so little time. Maybe you are like me, you get on hub pages, to read your fans pages, and before you know it, you have spent 2 hours on the computer. I really never thought I'd be a computer addict? Yet hubpages, seems to have a way of, making you feel like you need to spend time their, everyday!

Hubpages has been a great experience for me, it has helped me to voice things from the inside:) Funny, how some people you know read your writings and respond differently, than our fellow hub-fans! I love making friends here on hubpages. It is so great, how others are encouraging each

I have been finding, that I am really enjoying reading, my fellow-fans hubpages:) They are a positive part of my day:) Not only am I encouraged, but learn things too! Haven't got the money thing down yet? Figure in time that will just be the added bonus!

So, sitting in my new chair, I just feel so relaxed, I could go to sleep...oh, no I'm awake, but I did just find a new position to write! Can you believe it?, I just put my feet up on my desk, and my keyboard is in my lap, typing away:)

Don't you think if we can be more relaxed in your chair, that your writing will just flow, all the more? So my conclusion is that, a writing chair is good for the body and the soul!  Getting outside to write, would be good for the body and soul too:)

I would recommend, if you don't have one, go get one, even if you have to spend a little more money. Get one that is comfortable, and will last. It will be a furnishing that will add a lifetime, of writen memories:)

I have an update about my chair, my cat, seems to want to take it over all the time now. In fact as I am writing this, I am now on the edge of my chair, while he is all stretched out sleeping. I will have to move him more often, so I can write...right:)

I tell you what anyone that can write an article on buying a chair and make it interesting is truly a gifted writer! I love your conversational style. Years ago, when I started writing columns for a newspaper I would sit in my recliner and hand write my articles. Then I would type it and run it (usually right at the deadline) to the newspaper editor. Things have really changed with technology. You can't even write for a newspaper now unless you send it pdf file. I am curious as to when you began writing. You obviously have a natural talent. I didn't even know I could write until one day I wrote a short humor story to the newspaper making fun of the intellectuals at UNC, in North Carolina. The publisher walked in my business and said, I want to give you a column. So I wrote humor about the world, until God called me to serve him, and now I write HIS word. What a blessing you are LovesToRead!
