Promote your book in a creative way

Writers Helping other Writers

You wrote a book, or a simple article, and diving right into the promotion.

What do you do when all that hard work does not pay off?

I have been there and have done that!

Guess what!

I have achieved my goals and sales have improved.

I made sure to get the word out, and had approached the matter with a different approach.

I try to do my best at any project.

Writing is not for everyone.

Patience is required to be successful and to earn a substantial income.

When writing for pleasure and fun the enjoyment will increase.

I know this from my experiences in writing and publishing. Over the years I tried many tricks and had failed.

Why did I fail?

I did not give any of my work the patience it required.

I just wanted to earn and did not give anything else a second thought.

I learned and each time I wrote I learned more from my simple mistakes.

Writing is not for the fainthearted.

You can become frustrated, and feel down with the disappointments of which you did not think of in the first place.

I looked at my impatient moments, and have considered what needs to be really attempted.

I had to do this for myself.

Most writers don't think of the downs instead of the ups in the writing results.

You got to look at writing from all sides.

Why do you fall short in book marketing?

Falling short happens when you don't have a proper plan in motion.

When all your tricks won't work out that does not mean you must give up on writing.

There are still many new writers out there, and are looking for a gap to fit in and to want to be heard.

I know what that had felt like when I had started writing, and introducing myself to other writers.

Sometimes whatever you try in the book marketing process does not go your way.

You need that strong platform and to continue to write and share informative articles to be heard.

The more you put your work out online the better for your platform.

Make your best impression seen and noticed to be on top of your skills.

Offer something informative and worthy to your readers.

You want to be heard clearly, also, know yourself when you approach the subject.

Value your readers and write about relative topics to get your work in the need.

I have written and spoken of relative titles for my work to be noticed.

It worked out great for me. I did not do it alone.

I have good friends, and they have kind souls.

Friends can help you as I have had my friends in the writing community help me here.

When you have a clear mind of what to write and for whom you are writing every ting fits into place.

A great effort in writing shows your best efforts brought forward to you.

Smooth flowing words allows for better writing experiences.

Build your writing career easily.

Learn something new daily and read often.

Know what needs attention.

Panic comes easily when you don't know how to, in time you learn it all.

Writing is challenging so are the obstacles that pass by.

All important information and well-written works deserve the five stars and more.

Be true to reviews and yourself.

Even in your writing you got to be yourself.

Don't change in the way you write that would cause you to lose your readers.

Avoid the concern of what other writers would think of your work.

Try not to mix up the complication of your writing to the hard part of your writing skills.

You should do what you have as learned in writing, rather than learning what you have accomplished in writing.

Form an understanding between you and your writing.

Be open to all experiences. In other words avoid intimidation.

Are you struggling to get yourself heard?

Whether you write daily or choose to read more than writing when getting yourself heard can be a costly affair.

In certain situations you will have to pay for promoting your new book, and there is the free kind of promotion.

Social sites do help if you have more friends on those sites with similar interests.

Whichever way you choose to go, be positive and work your hardest on promoting that book or article.

It is never easy in the writing field. With careful thinking you can make a difference to your work and solid platform.

What is a pillar post?

Writing a pillar post helps you with spreading the word about your book or new article.

It is just as you would brand yourself about like self-promoting.

Be the good person and review other articles.

When you choose to help out with reviews it shows your good side, and that I have seen in many of my good followers.

I appreciate their time taken to review my work.

I have a few trusted followers who have made me feel good about my achievements.

A good deed does make you feel great to have helped out.

The idea is to share your stories and contribute equally to a community.

Working together as writers makes a difference to all published works.

Writers helping writers may not always work out for each other.

  • If you put your mind to helping other writers, won't you also get something good from that good deed?

  • I don't mind helping other writers.

I have had positive feedback on my published books and thanks to all those who have participated.

The guidance to quality of writing and to helping each other is such a great deal.

Anyone can write. It is the way you present and point out your tips to an audience is what really matters.

The lengthy articles can be boring or interesting; the ball is in your court.

Something new is surely to reach the top list.

I have found myself on Hubpages with good and friendly people.

I have improved my writing skills while writing for Hubpages.

Time showed me everything I needed to know about writing.

I did not give up when I had failed on the various writing sites. I knew the day will come when I can say, '' I have achieved well on writing and in sharing my thoughts.''

I don't want to be the millionaire. I write and be heard by my readers. I enjoy what I do and feel encouraged by all comments.

When writing a book make sure you have an audience waiting to read that book.

Don't rush into writing and publishing your work without knowing who you are going to sell it to.

Grow your audience in the most simplest of ways.

Be connected and learn with your audience.

You learn more about your writing skills in time.

Are you a dreamer or the serious writer?

Writers dream of becoming millionaires and that rarely happens.

Live in reality and focus on what you like to do best.

Write to become popular or to earn greatly.

Don't be disappointed with what did not come your way.

Continue to write and you will be heard. Time spent on writing articles or a book is with hope and for the best of results.

You can't push or force what is not in your path.

Be positive and think of what you are doing for yourself.

Do it with love and attention.

Everything you do deserves patience and full attention.

Don't start your day on a negative note that won't take you a step further in writing or in any other activity for the day.

Negativity spoils the moment.

Start the day with a smile and free of any bad thought.

I try to start each day happily and positively.

I do have those days when I feel all knotted up then I think of the good things in my life. I hold on to my best thoughts.

Writing can be fun and pleasurable if you let that be for you.

Love your positive attitude towards your writing. The sentence which really speaks to me - is the one which says 'Live in reality and focus on what you like to do best'. I think this is the key to all writing and to everything we do in our lives. When something is no longer pleasurable or gives us no enjoyment - then is the time to move on and find that special something which does.

Some very useful information shared by you about book promotion and marketing. As you said, have patience and you will succeed. Wishing you all the success, you deserve.

I am very poor at marketing but I do believe that hard work and patience pays. Thanks for sharing your helpful thoughts!

"Falling short happens when you don't have a proper plan in motion."

You have shared some real gems in your article, but this one stands out for me. Many writers don't even give thought to promotion because they are so hung up in the writing of the book. Some feel they will publish and they are done with that book and take up writing the next. As if the book will sell on its own. Not so .

After publishing, promotion is key. and as you said if you don't have a proper plan in motion, the book will not be a success. You have spoken some good ideas for marketing and to keep the writer in a good mindset. Thank you.

      An interesting personal account.

Publishing is certainly no walk in the park and you've got to persevere. Communicating with other writers is so useful and, of course, one has to make sure that writing is grammatically perfect.

Useful hub with some important messages.

Great article. What resonated with me most was - "you can't push or force what is not in your path." I really enjoyed the tips and most of all the positive attitude, patience and hard work concept. We all can support each other as we make it out there in our own little journeys, that is why HP is great!!

Good luck with your book, Devika. I hope it's a great success! You've given some great suggestions in this hub. Publicizing and marketing a book is very important, as you say. Choosing the correct marketing techniques is vital, too. The techniques need to make the potential reader feel interested in the book without feeling pressured. Congratulations on the success of your marketing strategy!
