Healing Words

In writing lines upon the pages,

I tell of lessons I've learned, in the ages.

Those I've found, in the life I've had,

many are good, while some are bad.

Lessons taught in mistakes I've made,

and their values, I would not trade.

The meaning of friendship,dearly sought,

only with kindness, it is bought.

The love of family, and their care,

means the world, that's meant to share.

A life of integrity, and in all to respect,

then our own regard, it does reflect.

Following the rules and bowing first,

being an humble soul, despite our thirst.

Our careful approach to meaningful tasks,

nd in fulfilling all, that it may ask.

The written word, reflects thoughtful acts,

and are displayed on paper, in the facts.

The spoken word, more meaning shows,

and in talking, its communication grows.

How we feel and in expressing our care,

imparts to all who will listen, before us there.

Our words in our loving, of goodness,

and feeling, give to all, a sense of its healing.

Healing words, both those written and told,

present to others, gifts of values untold,

Sharing warmth on winter days so cold,

and more worth, their treasure, in that of gold.

Soulful words coming from our spirits within,

give healing a chance and time to begin.

A sharing of us and what we're all about,

and a gift to those who hear, a joyful shout.

A recent hub seems to be a cry for help in some ways, and prompted me to share this work.

You certainly must have a beautiful soul as evidenced by the outpourings of your mind. I would call this a "kind and beautiful poem". Beautiful job!!
