Sanctuary Claimed

Swiftly enter to be safe
A place to rest from the chase
Nothing will harm any
Cloistered in these walls
Treated with care and kindness
Under these hallowed beams of oak
Away from troubles and worry
Rest your weary bodies in peace
Yearning for relief from strife

Chased by others seeking to harm
Looking over shoulders for pursuit
Always wary of strangers
Instincts sharpened by constant flight
Manya night sleeping in the open
Eyes kept open while resting alert
Dreaming of an end to this strife

Nicely done. You know you're good at something when you make it seem easy. :)
