You Are My Fresh Water

Updated on August 6, 2011

The sun hits me real hard

Like an egg frying itself on a pan full of hot fire

It is the hotness that is blazing my whole body.

Waiting for it to stop

I dream of your ever warm and sweet eyes

to penentrate my whole being.

It is in you that I feel safe without knowing

how, when, or where I am.

You are my fresh water that keeps me cool during

this real hard sunny summer,

It is in your arms that I feel refreshed and awake

like a daisy waking up after a long dreary winter.

I feel new and relieved everytime you come around.
