You Can't Win Them All

Updated on April 2, 2014

You Can Always Try

There are days that go so well that make life wonderful

You feel such a satisfaction that inspires so many positive thoughts

A calmness that keeps you feeling warm inside

The littlest sounds seem vibrant and clear

A melody that plays in your head

Where all that exist is the hear and now

The weather outside is turning warmer

With the harsh winter behind us

The wheels of spring turning

Only a matter of time before we see some signs of new life

I see birds scampering for food

The sun laying back in the blue sky

With the air still chilly

This is only the beginning of many reasons

Why the beauty of today will carry forward

Giving us the power and strength to exceed

In all the areas that we need

      Hi DREAM ON.

Greatly expressed desire of fulfillment. After a harsh, colder then usually winter season, this poem pushes the extent of hope to pass unreachable .

      Voted interesting.

      Good night my friend.

Jodah Enjoy your Autumn. I tend to forget every place but here. Thank you for sharing and giving me new insights and thoughts. We have had all the snow defrosting and topped off by rain equals basements flooding. I am usually lucky not this time. We have a pump to prevent the water from getting to high but my water line froze and the water pumped out couldn't go anywhere but right back. So it's aggravating but so many people have it so much worse. Making the best of a wet situation.I can't wait till everything is dry again.

Beautiful poem. I read this is the morning and it made me feel positive about the day ahead. :) I particularly like this line, "A calmness that keeps you feeling warm inside." It describes best my feelings when I'm happy. Voted up. :)
