You Have To Get Up

Updated on October 24, 2013

I Wish It Could Be Different

You look so tired

You asked me to wake you up in one hour

It's amazing how fast an hour goes by

Just when you fall off to sleep

It's time

To wake up and open those sleepy eyes

There are so many things to do and so little time

Should we slow down ?

How can we ?

When everything we do is so important

We have to work

So there is no escape from 40 plus hours a week

Then we have to eat

I am not talking about Mcdonald's drive through dollar meal

A home cooked meal that has meat and vegetables

Filled with a good source of nutrition

Don't forget exercise at least one hour a day

It doesn't have to be at the gym

Lots of walking and bending is a great start

Now throw in all the errands and responsibilities

You have enough for today and two tomorrows

We do what we must and some how it all works out

This is one of those days that go non stop

Thank God you weren't born a balloon

Here you are getting bigger and bigger

Filled with so much air

I know we add just a little more

All of a sudden

Pop

That's one way to stop

Gypsy Rose Lee I like to think it as mix and match .I mix up my hours and try to match them up with all my tasks for the day. Any jobs not completed I move them to day two and start the whole process over again. Good luck in all your endeavors. Dim Flaxenwick I like to change it up a bit so sometimes I call it the Big Jumbo or the Mighty Scramble. I do the same thing except I put my list of things to do on separate index cards and put them in a bag and shake it up and pull out one at a time. Whatever I get first that's my first thing to do then so on and on until everything is done .I wish you both a wonderful day where we both have lots of free time and get all things done we wanted.

You remind me of the struggle I go through ever day just to get everything organized and catch up with my work and complete all the things expected of me and you know what? It is darn difficult and if I could go without sleep it would all come together.

DDE Keep focused and little at a time things will get done. Progress and a healthy attitude will give us energy to keep going. You are right. The sooner you are moving the easier the day becomes. Thank you so much and off we go on another day. ocfireflies That would be fine by me. Until then we will just have to do it the old fashioned way. One leg at a time.I always love new ideas and suggestions. Thank you for reading and sharing.

If only we could learn to float instead of go, go, go, how much nicer life would be. Thank You.

Craftytothecore If we go back to the basics we will find time for what needs to be done. Then our free time can be used enjoying life's most wonderful moments relaxing any way we see fit. Thank you for your comment and have a good night.
