You, In Vain

Updated on July 11, 2014

Wandering fools
In love, in sin
In fear, in vain
Spare the life of newborn kin

Sweetest dreams lit of life
Grate door sends to new worn strife
Filled with anger
blood of men
Bend for hell to let one in
Strange field told the fate of love
Pending angels from above

In light, in love,
In fear, in vain,
We spoke good nothings once again
With trust we hear
And let one in
the best of times start growing thin

Nothing wears the shame of date
But time spent
In light, in love,
In fear, in vain
