YouTube Greats Part 4- shows for young kids
Let's face it, often our young kids have to wait in line with us while were, making decisions on new cars , new furniture and the like. But don't worry there's an app for that and it's called YouTube. Bring out you cell phone and start hopping some of the best titles on kiddie TV.
This option is also available in the middle of the night, to calm your young ones while you can barely open your eyes.
For those of us who like to reminisce about times gone by we can fire up YouYube on the PS3 of Wii and watch it in Hi-Def widescreen...and show off a few classics to our offspring...
Blasts from the past
A selection of the kids shows that I used to love:
One of my childhood favourites has to be the clangers. My Dad still has the one I made for him from an old sock. My absolute favourite just had to be the soup dragon.
In this story little clanger finds some hidden treasure..
Another favourite was Baggpuss the old soft floppy cat from Emily's toy shop, called Baggpuss and Co. and who had lots of adventures with his "toy" friends when the shop was closed.
There were the mice on the mouse organ, Professor Yaffle the wookpecker and more..
But best of all "Emily loved him"...
Postman Pat and his little cat Jess are great heroes in village where they live.
Mr.Benn, was a classic...Everyone thought that he was a businessman but really he spent his time having great adventures in the costume shop.
In his episode Mr.Benn gets the chance to try out what it would be like to be an astronaut.
Many people still love Thomas the Tank Engine and friends.
They actually give me the creeps! But each tot their own...
The roobarb and custard cartoon was short and sweet. Usually on before the evening news.
I used to love the music!!
Bananas in Pyjamas are coming down the stairs and will often be seen chasing teddy bears.
I don't know why this is such fun but it is!!
These short animations are the greatest and there are a whole slew of them on YouTube for your amusement.
My daughter is 13 and we still sat for ages watching these.
BoB the Builder
Bob the builder and his mates have added to their crew since my kids were very small and there's even a YouTube channel dedicated to them
- bobthebuilderchannel's Channel - YouTube
The Official Bob the Builder YouTube Channel Bob the Builder and his Machine Team can now be seen in all new adventures in their fresh-look TV series - Ready, Steady, Build! - now on CBeebies! Bob the Builder games, projects and latest news can be fo
Another, more modern option is Spongebob....
A little bit of Sponge Bob is always entertainment for everyone :-D
Have you got any other favourites that you're like to add to the list??
