Your memories and my life - Love Poem
Watching the sky at nights,
I see a replica of my life,
Like the clouds cover the moon,
Your memories cover my delights.
Trying to figure out my mistake,
I wasted my nights lying awake,
Thousand sleepless nights I bore,
Your memories put my heart at stake.
I traveled without care,
In the deserted plane of amity,
With no soul around me,
Your memories seemed a vanity.
I searched my soul which was long lost,
Somewhere beneath my past, dusty and lowly,
In vain my efforts went, my past was too dark,
Your memories were ruthless, They murdered me slowly.
Yes! I kept your memories with me,
Through thick and thin and joys and pains,
They made me feel nearer to you,
They kissed me like the clouds kiss the mountains.
