Doubt: A Poem

Updated on April 27, 2012

Never have I doubted your kiss before

Nor have I been this unsure

About anything as I am now

With no reason of why or how

I wish I only had a clue

As to why I am beginning to doubt you

It makes no sense to me

Why I think I am not the one you see

When you say I am the one you miss

And when I am the one you kiss

I cannot hide

The doubt inside

When my only disguise

Are my open eyes

That you can see right through

Like clear windows made for you

Maybe me being insecure

Is the reasoning for me being unsure

In the end I turn to you

The only one who can say what is true
