Has anyone read "Moscow 2042" as oppose to "1984" by George Orwell?

The question "Is there one novel you've read more than once? What keeps bringing you back to it?" got quite an attention. A few readers mentioned "1984" by George Orwell. I read it twice, too. What keeps me from returning to it more, it is its gloom and doom. On the other hand "Moscow 2042" I read at least five times - it is dystopian, yet it is funny as hell. So, has anyone read it? Vladimir Voinovich is a fantastic writer.
