Writers block. What method do you use to start writing again.
Maybe go somewhere that you love and can sit back and take everything in. I live near the beach so if Im stressed or feeling like I need to be inspired I like to sit and watch/listen to the waves crash. Sometimes reading or looking at things that bring up locked away emotions helps as well because then it allows you to relive the experience. Always carry a notebook too or small pad because you never know when youll see something that will trigger a good piece of writing...hope this helps! Good luck finding your muse
I just stop writing for a while and not think about it. Sometimes for weeks at a time.
I started looking for things I had around the house. It should give me ideas for a while then I will need to look elsewhere. If you can not find inspiration around you then try going somewhere else. They say that lucky people seek out opportunities and do not keep doing the same things over and over again.
This has happened to me many times. I write write and write and then I loose track. I go blank and I don't know where to start. I stop writing for few days. I sit alone at night, read what I have written and try to connect. If I still am not sure what to write, I just leave it and start a new one. For me, it has happened, that I haven't got any ideas so I leave it. And something happens that makes me connect to my story again. Well it could be a conversion i overhear in a restaurant, it could be people I see or just about anything.
Try Julia Cameron's book The Artist's Way. Written in 1992 it is still THE definitive text for dissolving creative blockage. It's amazingly effective.
I'm not a fan of not writing at all. I write something everyday, from just general thoughts (journalling) to full blown short stories. You never know reading over your writing later on if there is a story in all that brain mucus spilled onto paper. I'm of the mindset that you should write everyday even if it is just in a journal. You never know whats going to click. Some stories/thoughts will get finished, others will remain in your notebook forever. Don't stop writing, habits form easily and thats not one habit you want to stick.
writers block for me ...means you run out of inspiration or passion that drives you to keep writing what ever your writing about!!!..just take a break and have a kit kat hahaha..give your self an ice breaker..sit back on the rocking chair as you look from a far..walk down the beach or in the park..stargaze ,listen to your favorite songs..unwind and just chillax..who knows in those moments..brilliant ideas will start creeping in your head again..and your passion to write will be back..so goodluck and best wishes

Hi, everyone. Thank you in advance for reading; this is a little long-winded.When I was a kid, I loved writing books. I'd sit at the computer for hours, typing. I knew I was going to be a writer one day. Even my elementary school teacher said I had talent. When I was 22 I got a publishing contract...

We have probably all been there, but given my favourite topic is writing about cruises and tips and tricks for getting the most out of a cruise holiday.... well lets just say the changes to the world over the last few years have made me feel aimless. When the cruises stopped, so did I, and I have...
