It is definitely feasible, but for such a target patience is very important.

Yes. You have to aim big to achieve your goal. This is not to take away from the fact that it's not going to be smooth sailing. You will have to put in long hours initially but the effort put in will be worth when the money starts rolling in. There are so many success stories at hubpages which are a great motivating force especially for me and many hubbers are not, rather were not professional writers, when they first started out.
Just keep at it religiously and you will make even more.

While I believe such a thing is possible, it certainly wouldn't be easy. The problem isn't so much the writing, it's the advertising. I could write 1000 hubs and still be making less than a dollar a day. Success, especially online, is measured by how well you can get your name out there and how well you can direct traffic back to your money making articles. So, for example, 10 really well advertised hubs could easily make over a dollar a day. It all depends on how willing you are to self-promote.

Generating $1000 a month and earning $1000 a month just by writing are two different aspects of making money online.  Generating $1000 a month indicates that relevant amazon capsules selling products online creates the marketplace.  Earning $1000 a month involves writing quality relevant articles and spending as much as one writer divulged of about 15 hours a day on the computer writing because that was her only source of  income.  The novice writer needs to set a realistic goal of initially expecting  $100 monthly  and if the writing is passionate enough or the need as the prior example, then increase the writing that will directly increase the online earnings.  Making $1000 a month would involve being on the computer a sustantial part of one's day.   That is why the writer got to be passionate about writing and know if in fact there is an intended audience interested in the topics.

Writing online is passivie income and if $1000 a month is needed because of the tough economy, then a regular job would be more feasible.

It is feasible to aim! May not be so to attain it!

I think that it would be possible, but would take a lot of knowledge, commitment and a lot of work. I read an article on another forum last week about a man who earns $600 a month from writing articles on various websites. He works 13 hours a day churning out various articles. I think you would have to be very disciplined and be able to write a lot of quality articles each day to get anywhere near that.

It seems a lot of stress to rely on $1000 a month generated from writing. I would look at other avenues too.
