From early childhood in to my teens, I admired and aspired to be Spock from Star Trek. Why? No emotions and amnesty from their associated pains. "Illogical, Captain!" was my answer to most things at that time in my life. I actually remember reciting to myself, "Emotion is illogical! I am Vulcan - I am not capable of emotion!" Do you have a role model from the annals of fiction who/which has affected your life and way of thinking in adulthood?
