I loved the film, with Taylor and Burton, but I wonder if you are asking if I am afraid of Virginia Woolf herself, the writer.
I read 'To the Lighthouse' and liked it. I was fascinated by 'Orlando', and by lucky chance, no one told me about the "changes" in Orlando himself (should I have said "herself"?).
But I think my favourite novel is 'Between the Acts'
In some of my more light-hearted writings, i have a large house, a Home for Impecunious Gentlefolk and the like, in which there is an expanse of water called 'The Virginia Woolf Memorial Pond'...
The home is situated in Surrey, and is known as "Twilight Lawns plc".
That's the sort of impression the dear lady made upon my simple soul.
