spending an entire life time in a career that was extremely satisfying, and helpful to others. And to have attained retirement in good physical and emotional health. There is not much more to hope for in life. I learned a long time ago that the ability to help others, and the satisfaction received for doing so, is much more rewarding than obtaining material gain for selfish reasons.
It is much more rewarding to lie on you death bed and remember what good you have done for others in this lifetime, than to worry about where all your hard earned (or ill gained) wealth will be going after you move on.
