Have you ever cried after reading a book(actual book) ?
Which book? Do you remember the name of the Author?
In my case it was 'Love Story' by EriCh Segal....an all time fav.
Several books actually. Well crying is something I don't do, but a few drops rolled out my eyes. The most recent one was after reading Olive Schreiner's 'The Buddhist Priest's Wife'. It's not an entire book, it is but a short story. It was part of a collection.
Many many times with many many books. I'll cry from the beginning to the end of "Of Mice and Men" by John Steinbeck. Unbelievably beautiful and poignant book. I'm getting teary just thinking about it.
Oh yes, definitely - lots of times. Captain Corelli's Mandolin, the last three chapters always - I can barely see the pages through the blur of tears.
It's good to have a good cry.
I cried during the book "Jesus is for real". It's the story of a boy who died for a few minutes on a surgery table when he was young. He went to heaven and I was touched that he saw his sister who died before she was born. It gives me hope that some day I will see my own sister and grandmother, Brianna and Barbara.
I cried after reading Phantom by Susan Kay. It was not because it was sad, though it was at times... I cried because I was overwhelmed by the story, the amazing writing style, and the beauty of the entire experience. Beautiful!
Yep.. Many a times.. I have cried while reading the book "Mahashweta" written by Sudha Murty...
It's the story of a beautiful girl, whose life gets shattered by a disease called 'leukoderma'...!
Many times, even if I already read it more than thrice. I cant remember all the titles of books but I bet every sad and unhappy ending, and tragic ones would let my tears fall.
I cried after reading My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult it was one of the most tragic things I had read about at the time

Do you continue reading a book even when you have guessed the ending? Most romantic novels (especially of the league of Mills and Boon) have happy endings - which essentially means - you know the ending, more or less. But still they are popular. Do you think its actually a challenge for...
