Have you ever written a comment to a hub that you later regretted?

Did you later go back to your comment and try to save face?

lf I do not like a Hub, I do not comment.

This is my policy on reviews of restraunts as well. I only do positive reviews, because anyone can have a bad run of luck.

If there is a newbie who has unique content, and heart, there are times I will contact them privately for positive feedback and a few suggestions to help. I am very careful to let them know it is not meant as any negative.

    Good Question.

A really well thought out answer; however, in my case, I was either so tired that I missed a subtle point in the Hub, or I was trying to be witty and failed miserably.

I loved your answer!  Basically every writer wants to improve, and one of the best ways to do this is to receive good feedback and take the suggestions and try to do better.

Sure..............I have been around for quite some time.

Yes, I am guilty of speaking without great forethought.

I will not deny any position that I have taken.................but, certainly, there are instances when I could have better addressed the issue at hand.

I never regret much in my life.  There are no such things as mistakes, in my opinion.  You either do it or you do not.  If you did it, then you did it because at the time you believed in it.  Therefore, I can not regret that which I believe in.  Great, now I'm confused.

We all make mistakes but I have learned not to leave a comment if I'm rushing, it's better to come back and read the hub properly when you have more time.

Wow, you managed to put truth and good advice all in one comment (I am not trying to be flippant).  In closing, are you absolutely  sure that you want to admit to making mistakes?
