Here in the U.S. we certainly do.
I think everyone should have the right to speak up for themselves and for others and against injustices – in a loving, non-combative way, of course.
Some people may misconstrue the statement, and your question, and think that as long as they view something as right in their own eyes, then they should assert it.
As a Christian and a follower of the Bible, I use that as my standard. So whatever is contrary to the word of God, I don't stand for.
