I struggle to update my blogs and HP more than once a week at best, so I'm not the best to answer probably, but even so I think I can give you a couple tips that should help.
First, if you normally only write about a few topics, try to broaden your reach about what you write about. Find topics that are either in high demand, or topics that you yourself would like to know more about. Not only will this give you more hubs, but will also, in time, improve your writing skill.
Second, when you write, stay as specific as possible. As an example, I wrote a hub about some of the breeds commonly referred to as pit bulls. In it, I listed 5 breeds, and wrote a little about each one. What I could have done instead was write a single hub about each one, and linked them together. Not only would they have had much more detail, but they would be much more search friendly. Not only that, but there is the chance of getting 5 views each time someone found one instead of the 1 view I currently get.
Lastly, set a goal for yourself and force yourself to stick to it. If you want to write a hub a day, set aside a couple hours, however much time you can spare, each day to nothing but writing. The first couple days, or more than likely weeks, will be hard, but once you get used to it it will be much easier.
