My favorites are Paulo Coelho, Sidney Sheldon, Luke, James, Solomon, Jude Deveraux, Dale Carnegie, V.C. Andrews, and Lao Tzu. Some of the reasons I love these authors because they have taught me something, taken me to other times or places, and shown me different perspectives.

When you describe what you like about their stories, it makes me want to read them. Thank you for your answer.
I'll have to check them out! Thanks for your answer:)
Thank you for your list! I must admit that I like emotion and rubbish, sometimes. I am an anthropologist at heart and love to know what makes people think and feel the way they do. Although, I am interested in Kafka's writings.
That is a nice list! And please tell me why?
