   What has your kid said that is funny, outrageous, or flat out embarrassing?

   We were playing a board game called Apples to Apples.  The premise of the game is simple there is a green card picked, this particular green card was "something evil", and each player has to submit a red card with a word that fits as close to the phrase on the green card as you can.  You only have a few red cards in your hand though to choose from.  My 11 year old son, his friend, and my 7 year old son were playing but I had to mostly tell my 7 year old which card would match the best, because he's just too young for this version.  It was my 11 year old son's turn to be the "judge" of which card fit the description "something evil" best, so the other players start to say why their card matches better.  Now the card my 7 year held that I thought fit the best said "Silence of the Lambs", so I quickly read it to him and whispered, "It's a scary movie about a serial killer!"  and just as fast he turned to his brother to state his case for his card, "OK!  So there's this killer, and he kill's CEREAL!!"  He was serious as he could be when he said this.  We all laughed so hard, we almost died!  Definitely still makes me giggle.

   Not my kid, but a little girl I knew, was taken on a visit to an elderly lady in a nursing home.  This lady had a large mole on her face, which the girl, who was at the age of being excited about insects, thought must be an insect.  I don't think she said anything to the lady, but she made a point of saying "Hi, bug!" and "Bye, bug!" to the mole on the lady's face.

   I was reading a book with my 3 year old daughter.  It was about a princess and a prince (of course).  After reading the book she asked about why the princess loved the prince.  I did my best to answer her, after which she said.
   "Papa, when I was a baby I didn't love you."
   I was crushed!  I asked her why not.  Her answer?
   "Because I just didn't know you very well!  I love you now!"

      I can see why your heart stopped preacher. But in a way she's right. She didn't know you well then, but she has gotten to know you long terms and knows a good daddy when she sees one. Be blessed.

   My son, a 5 year old, keeps stating "Mommy, you crap me up" when he means "you crack me up". It has "cracked up " many strangers we pass by in our day to day.

   When my daughter was in pre-school, the pediatrician questioned her about her diet during her annual exam. When she got to her likes/ dislikes among veggies, she asked if she liked beans. "Yes! I love jelly beans!"

   my aunt, when she was very young, once told her mom, as mom was brushing and puting her hair into a pony tail....
   
   "mom, you should do old ladies hair"
   
   "why should i do old ladies hair?" her mom asked
   
   "cause you could pull all the wrinkles outa there faces"
   
   at which point my grandmother realized she might be pulling the pony tail a little too hard.
   
   
   
   myself,..... i came home from town with my hair done and a new perfume on as well,.... my 4 year old son,... not used to seeing his country tom girl mom in curls,... runs up to me and says.....
   
   "MOM!.... your hair looks puuuurdy.... and ya stink good too"
   
   needless to say, we are ozarks hill people,... and years later,.. he still talks like this.

   When one of my siblings was little, my mom was trying to teach him about giving offering at church and gave him some change to put in the offering plate. When the usher (whose name happened to be Todd) came by with the plate, my mom said, "Ok, now give your money to God." After my brother dropped in his coins, he leaned back over to my mom and said, "God is wearing a nice tie this morning."
   
   We like to tease him about that one
