Wealth means a lot of things to me, but here's just a few. Freedom from working for money and having my money multiplying for me. Freedom to do as I wish or need to when I wish or need to (learning, travel, exercise, work, leisure). Time to do as I wish or need to, when I wish or need to. Helping others help themselves with a variety of philanthropic endeavors.

Very interesting comment ! I notice a lot of me's and I' as I wish.
Nothing can be even a wish with out the life to do it with. The Father should always come first that he gave a gift of life to do as you wish.

Kiss, that's only your opinion, and an unproven opinion at that. Maybe one day if you become better aquainted with facts, you'll see how silly you sound.

To you Bruce this sounds silly But I guess you can run a car with out an engine and gas ,you do not need the power to make it run, so you are saying we do not need the one responsible for giving us life .
Now that sounds silly to me!

Wealth to me is absolute freedom in every sense of the word. Especially the freedom to explore life and enjoy it.

To me wealth means nothing unless God gives it to you ! Because like King Solomon
He was given wealth as a bonus! Because he wanted to please God by just asking for wisdom, simply he had a heart of gold . And that pleased God! That he gave it all  or allowed him to have what ever he wanted.
    Notice!

Reference Bible Ec 1:14 I saw all the works that were done under the sun, and, look! everything was vanity and a striving after wind.

Reference Bible Ec 12:13 The conclusion of the matter, everything having been heard, is: Fear the [true] God and keep his commandments. For this is the whole [obligation] of man.

I think of wealth as more than actual money.  I think of it as character and friends and experience.  Mere money can be taken away or lost, but character and friends and experience are mine forever.  With those things, I am a rich woman.  But a little freedom from want would be nice too.

I think the world posses many people wealthy and not so wealthy, but the experience of either is a test , what will we do with our circumstances. How do we use what ever to show our love and grateful ness of the one who gives life. Money or no money

Again similar to the one on Power. Wealth is outer affluence which is nearly always associated with power. It encourages a life of ease or luxury, control and opulence. Buys expensive friends and will take one to interesting circles and places. It also encourage status symbols and will get you an 'easy ride' in some situations.

The second approach comes from those of an alternative lifestyle, who will see health as wealth.

The third approach is the spiritual. To them, while the body is a sacred Temple and important to serve, their first thought is always about pleasing God. This is their inner wealth, you might say. Really nice questions, Grace.

It depends on your interpretation of the word...for most it's money. However, i see wealth as the family, friends ,and simple joys in life as true wealth.

To me it mean's being financially independent.  I don't have to have a lot of money to be happy.  All I would need is enough money to pay all the monthly bills on time plus a little extra and some money for fun.  And also financial freedom where I don't have any bills-except for the usual electric, cable and so on

What about money for investments so you can have a stable future? Many people underestimate the importance of a regular, substantial savings rate.

That's where my pension comes in and CDs, stocks and bonds.  Plus not dipping into the savings to pay bills

Wealth, according to me, means having a power to own everything and fulfilling the desire of leading a lavish & satisfied life....

Yes that would be the advantage of a percentage of people ! But would it be wonderful if all people could experience this advantage, in all fairness they can not because of health. Or a short lived circumstance., or maybe where you live controls
