As a writer, how do you feel when people refer to your hub as a blog?

It's clear many people still have a very hazy view of how this Internet thing works and they've picked up the idea somewhere that all self-published content on the web is blogging. How do you feel about your magazine-length, researched articles getting referred to as blogs? How do you feel about blogs and how does it relate to the first question?

Thank you for your response. It seems people have a lot of different opinions. It only bothers me a little because I get uptight about proper word usage sometimes.

To me this is kind of the same thing as being upset that someone called Jewel-Osco "a store" or a Coke "a soda".

I think calling hubs blogs just confuses people. The designation really only bothers me because it isn't quite the right word; it's like calling a sheep a goat. Thanks for answering.

They can cal it a bowl of soup if they love it. But if they hate it, I'll be annoyed if they call it a blog. Thanks!

It really only bothers me because I get OCD about word meanings sometimes. Others, however, may be offended by it. Thanks for answering.
