   I have read a lot of good books of many different genres, but one that always stands out for me is a fantasy series (four book in all) "The Wells of Ythan" by Marc Alexander.
   The story is compelling and the characters so appealing. I found the first book in the series in a second hand book shop and was so captivated and drawn in to the story that I had to track down the rest of the series. I did a search of Amazon and other book stores online and eventually found the other three volumes. The trouble was worth it and I can thoroughly recommend these books if you are into "fantasy".

      Another that has changed my view on life forever is "The Alchemist" by Paolo Coelho. It is amazing.

      Yes, John. It is as if he came for that purpose. This book has been translated into many languages. Have you read 'The Prophet' by Kahlil Gibran?

      Its a bit like Rumi. Weaving words in a mystical way, yes, but very loving and soothing. He too, is internationally known and his books are enjoyed by many households. Amazon must have it. Try, I will give you a fiver if you do not like it

   The book of 'Life'. Of course I am a little biased as I am the author. Perhaps that is little facetious . . . I dun'no. I love each chapter.
   
   Regarding print books as I pondered these moments 'a' book that impacted my life immensely is 'The Four Loves' by C.S. Lewis. The 'Lord of the Rings' by J.R.R. Tolkien fascinated me. A work by Aldous Huxley intrigued me - 'Brave New World'.
   
   Two that are still mysterious and mystical are 'The Poetic Edda' (Unknown authors) and 'The Odyssey' (Homer). Fun books are 'A Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy' series by Douglas Adams. I will always remember a biography of Edgar Allen Poe.
   
   But, today, a book I enjoy from time to time is 'Angels Can Be Silly and Playful Too!' by Sannel Larson. Even though a children's book it always brings a smile to me :-) When in times of doubt I find greater courage. At times as perspective is lost it seems to ground me. And, always, connections are made with those little ones in my life.

   It is called the Path: Autobiography of a Western Yogi. I started reading under a lamp post in the Caribbean sunshine when I was four years old, and have read some truly great books. Still, they were not literally life-changing. The first book mentioned was.
   
   It came through my letter box in September, 1982, and I have not looked back since. I was and continue to be awake in the Spirit, because of this book. I have since read many better ones by my Spiritual Teacher, but that's how it all started 33 years ago. Nice question.

   I have so many beloved books that would qualify, but if I were to choose one, I would choose the most recent favorite, "Auriel Rising" by Elizabeth Redfern.  The story takes place in 1609 and involves the perilous adventure of a young man, Ned Warriner, who wins a mysterious letter in a card game and which begins: "To Auriel, I will give the gift of gold."  It's a literary novel, extremely well versed historically, but without the heady character introspection usually found in such a work.  It is the only book I've ever read that was like watching an epic film.  Very descriptive in place and setting.  Amazing cast as well.

   I have not read so many books but out of all that I have read my favorite was If I Was Your Girl. i liked this book because it talks of people who most of us usually feel hate for. i never hated Transgender people but it was never easy to sympathize with them before i read this book.
