I was walking along the other day, when all of the sudden the sunny day turned cloudy and I was trenched in turrents of rain. As there was no thunder or lightning, I basted in the coolness of the warm drops mingling with my perspiration as I continued my walk.
When I reached my house, I was sappy but comfortable knowing that the rain was needed to cool the hotness of the day and had provided company on my walk.
I was happy and elated for completing my daily walk irregardless of the sudden change in the weather. As I shed my wet jogging suit and headed for the shower, however, I vowed to check the forecast and to put together an indoor exercise regiment.
I felt a quiet confidence knowing that I had not run to get out of the rain but had kept my steady pace as onlookers had looked at me to say "Doesn't she see that it is raining?"
