Hi. I'm writing my third book, my books aren't for the gay market, I guess they are for any 18+

Market, but what I mean is the stories are not predominantly gay. However, I would like to have a gay character in my third fiction, which I'm writing now, but I don't want to be disrespectful to gay people. He's not a main character, and won't see any sexual action in the book, but I don't want to say he's gay, I'd like the reader to just know that from the way he is. What's the best way to write in a gay character that makes it seem part of the story without sticking an "I'm gay" sign above his head? Thanks x
