Often some "Human Resources" (HR) weenie will give you a bad time because of "gaps" in your employment history.
She will make you squirm for being out of work while she has had her parasitical nothing job for years because of "diversity hiring preferences".
If you feel that gaps are going to disqualify you, your parting shot could be "Oh, BTW, during my job gaps, were YOU hiring?"
No, I am not seriously recommending you say that. ;-)
