While I do have many writing projects going on at the same time (working on three books and some poetry, in addition to the Guides), I usually set a day apart to focus on Stoffel's Guide for the week. I find doing multiple projects of different types helpful in that it keeps me from getting too burned out with one thing. The tricky part is not to get your projects mixed up. Working on some nonfiction, one scotch too many, working on a wacky fantasy story ... wait, there is no flying teacup involved in Cochlear Implant surgery.... Now, they connect the implant to the auditory nerve, and then Gaudylooks and the Three Bears come in to install the breathing tube in the ear.... If you're not careful, you could end up writing the healthcare bill.
