The writer has always been there. But writer's block really stunted my development over the years. Except in fits and starts, it really wasn't until a few months ago that the writer in me wanted out again.
I've always been philosophical and driven by light. By that I mean that I use light imagery to fall into the white space as I start to write something. I've always been introspective and watchful.
I love to people watch, and to listen to conversations and cadence. It was a really good way for me to learn how to write dialogue.
As far as what stirred the writer within...well.. I have mild CP and, as such, physical activity wasn't always the easiest thing to engage in, but I needed another outlet.
To begin with, my outlet was reading, and reading Stephen King's "IT" during the Summer of 1985 made me want to write.
