is 38 novels at once too many story lines?
almost all of my novels are started, some half done some a minor plot others completed, a few - just the titles. i've never written an idea down, i just push it aside until i want it, the story is in my subconsious and i bring it out for reminding occasionally, thats when i decide if i want to write the story or wait till later. i have about 6 that are waiting for me to start them, but i know what i want to write. i just don't want to write them right now.
i have an over active imagination and i can switch from one novel to another on a completley different style and go with it... as long as i have read the last sentence i can pick up the story instantly, don't worry, it even sounds weird to me.. apparently there's no other writers in our entire family, not one.
i've never done the traditional layout of plot and charachters what the chapter is going to be, i don't even know HOW to do it that way LOL i did try to once tho, and got completely confused. and i have one i'm writing by hand just to make myself actualy try it that way, but as a rule, i just throw it out there and it works. my stories build themselves, i just have the hands and keyboard, one of my series started as one book, and i wrote a synopsis which seemed to be reasonable to add more titles so i did, i guess thats a plot, but all of those got started at the same time they just got cut an pasted ito their own little books.
i htink i had a brain transplant at birth cos its like someone else is doing the writing, i feel like a stranger when i read what i wrote... not sure if this is normal or not, but would be interesting to find out why my brain works that way. LOL maybe i should throw that as a Q lol see who else does that...
