   I wish that I could give you an educated answer, but the truth is i run on emotion and I feel vibes, I have been in a bubblebath before and knew that it was about to happen again, and I jumped up dripping wet and got my guitar and sang all 5 verses of my latest, ...which I have proudly listed on ITUNES...Lisa Renee..."the logging trail"...sums up a big part of my childhood, thank God I can sing about it now, many years ago...at the age of 12 I knew that I had to do something about my life, I was surrounded by poverty...sorry to be so long-winded, I am very passoniate about my beliefs...I wish you health and happiness...lisa

   Life. Seriously though. Just..life. Things that have happened to me, to others, things I've seen, things I want to see, concepts I think of, wishes I have, things I feel or have felt, absolutely everything is inspiration. Sorry, I just can't pick something to flag as 'major'!

   I am essentially a prose writer. Sometimes I get a flash to write a poetry and those who read it say it is actually prose split at odd places!

   I am inspired to write poetry when the only way I can express my thoughts is through analogy or imagery. Usually I can write in a logical manner but when that is not possible, a poem springs forth and explains it much better!

   Poetry was my first love as a writer in my early years of life.
   
   But eventually, I didn't like writing it.  I don't know why, but I didn't.  I just preferred reading other people's poems.
   
   Now, I ony write poetry it seems when I'm walking through valleys in my life. I started doing this as a new Christian, struggling in my walk with God.  I would write poems about my desires to be close to Him.  I wanted a relationship with the Lord that I wasn't experiencing then.  Now I look back at some of those writings and see that they were prophetic.
   
   In a nutshell, I write poetry when I'm dealing with great emotional pain.

   Actually, anything and everything. I observe the goings around me and listen to my spirit. Most times, the first line of the poem comes and once I put pen to paper, the rest follows.

   My love for my parent and children inspired me to write a poem, a poem is a true feeling of one's heart and mind, when you are happy everything feels so good and you feel like praising the natural beauty.
