any one poem

Updated on December 22, 2011

any one

Does anyone really care about me, or even know my name? Do I look like everyone else? Are we all just the same?

Does anyone really care about what I think? Are we all just doomed passengers on a ship about to sink?

Does anyone really care about the pain that I feel? Are we all so consumed with ourselves that we forget what is real?

Would anyone comfort me if they saw tears in my eyes? Are we all so blind to justice that we only believe the lies?

If I begged for help would anyone lend a hand? Are we all so insensitive to others that we cannot understand?

Do we look at others with our hearts full of hate? Do we fail to realize that we all share the same fate?

What we do to others, and the hurtful things we say, God will remind us all on the judgment day.

I think some of us are left to questions like these while others seem to go on oblivious of our yearnings comepletely. I don't really know but I think I will remain forever concious of these questions too......:-}Love this!

A beautiful but sad poem. Yes, some people still care.

Great poem until you brought the whole God's retribution thing into it lol. But I thought it was very heartfelt, something I can empathize with, great job!
