Children's Book Author Eric Carle

Updated on October 4, 2012

Eric Carle's Childrens Books

We first started receiving Eric Carle books from my sister-in-law almost immediately after my first daughter was born. Author and illustrator Eric Carle creates some great books that kids want to read over and over again, and our kids were no exception.

In recent years Eric Carle has partnered with Bill Martin Jr. to bring us the Bear series of books. Brown Bear, Brown Bear; Panda Bear, Panda Bear; Polar Bear, Polar Bear; and in 2007 Baby Bear, Baby Bear.

In 2009, as part of the 40th celebration of The Very Hungry Caterpillar, March 20th has become The Very Hungry Caterpillar Day. In it's third year, the day features many organizations reading the Very Hungry Caterpillar to kids and children around the world.

The latest book published by Bill Martin Jr. and Eric Carle - Baby Bear, Baby Bear, What do you See?, 2007

Well done lens about a great children's book author. The little ones never get tired of Eric Carle. The books in my Pre-K class during my years of teaching were "well-read". Favorited and enjoyed! Thanks!
