autumn breese-poem

Updated on October 25, 2012

I do love the autumn breeze

& the colourful leaves upon the trees

Chilly wind caresses my face

As I walk at a steady pace

All the colours, the greens and browns

Leaves falling gently to the ground

As we notice the year is ending

The tree's start undressing

Beneath my feet I hear a crunch

Leaves falling to the ground all in one bunch

The nights are get darker

I think it’s time to get out my parker.

Halloween is coming; we await the trick 'o' treating

Ready to see happy children eating.

Oh how I love the chill of the autumn breeze

& I end my journey with a sneeze.
