The Bahamas Beauty

A detailed view of the one of the most beautiful places on earth

The name bahamas is from the root word baha'i meaning short water of shallow waters. This island chain consists of about 700 island and cays only about 27 are inhabited. Nassau is the capital. The main industry is tourism but it is also rich in salt beautiful sand the most beautiful in the world and possibly oil yet to be determined. The Family Islands has the rare distinction of being one of the view places on earth where is leave your door open at night. It is just that peaceful.
