beside, yet left aside

ensuring its own riches, with materialistic might,
endlessly grip, binding thou minds,
fake stars, are the street-lights,
city, stays alive,
at thou stake.

ensuring riches, through elemental might,
day'n'night skies, caresses thou sight,
seasonal sprouts, bring bounty to our plates,
countryside, is alive,
for thou sake.

simple village folks,
toiling for thy sake,
are beside, yet left aside.

Thanks jodah. I have few friends who are working for farming community in india, who toil against all odds, so i wrote this for them.

I wish I could write more like this, but I'm mainly lyrical. I can't seem to stray far from that. However, this was really pretty! Good job Hari!
