Books for your new Kindle

Updated on December 25, 2011

Did you just get a Kindle?

If so, it's a little empty right now.

We've been working overtime to produce books worth reading, books worth buying (though many are free if you have Amazon Prime and are willing to stagger them).

And all of them work on the Kindle Fire, too.

Fast, inexpensive and worth your time. Enjoy.

Seth's other books on the Kindle

I'm not responsible for the pricing of these books, sorry.

You can even read blogs on the Kindle

Seth's Blog
Seth's Blog

(but you can read them online for free.)

Feel free to share suggestions on other titles

Some of those I actually have on my Kindle app. I would love it if you could check out my page and take a look at the Novel Electrify Me. It's 0.99 cents on the Kindle and is 330 pages. A fantasy novel that everyone would love. Hope you check it out since I'm pretty new here. Happy New Year.

With all these great ideas floating around, I'd say you need a way to present your knowledge effectively.

The Art of the Pitch by Peter Coughter will teach you how to sell anything in any situation big or small better than anyone else in the room.

I can unequivocally tell you that I will never stop using the insights and tools that Coughter gets paid big bucks to equip the largest ad agencies in the country with.

Find it on Amazon. You can even read a couple of chapters. http://www.amazon.com/dp/0230120512/ref=rdr_ext_tm...

I did not get a Kindle, but I can still read these on my Kindle for PC free download from Amazon. I am wondering when you wrote "Survival is not Enough" I am sure Google will clear that up for me in just a couple of clicks! Merry Christmas to you Mr. Godin, and a very Happy New Year.

I chose a couple of 2012 daily calendars for my Kindle. Or choose a daily devotional. Great ways to start the day!

It's awesome that your blog led me to your lens. I've had great fun (a even made a little money) with Squidoo and I look forward to learning about your next project in 2012. If it is anything like the Domino Project or Squidoo I know it will be inspired.

Thanks for sharing this list--what a Kindle-iscious present for us!

I strongly recommend "PREDICTABLY IRRATIONAL: The Hidden Forces That Shape our Decisions" by Dan Ariely, a pioneer in the new field of Behavioral Economics (the collision between Behavioral Sciences and Economics). It's vailable for immediate download on Kindle!

Have you starting making a list of New Year's resolutions, yet? For help sticking to this year's resolutions, I recommend Switch: How to Change Things When Change Is Hard by Chip Heath and Dan Heath. I read it this year and and it made a remarkable difference in my life.
